“After moving to Charlottesville in 2009 and buying a home originally built in the 1940’s with many additions added on since then, we knew we wanted to update the house without loosing its character.  We started out small with just a fence and enclosing a carport.  We met with several contractors, and it was obvious right from the moment we met Chris Clark that we wanted to use him.  It was simple. We had seen the references with regards to the fine quality of the workmanship that his company was plenty capable of.   But what set him apart was how he presented himself.   It had to do with trust.  And we felt that immediately and we never looked back.   And trust is putting it mildly.  Chris Clark and his crew at Haven Construction are so lovely to have around we hated to see them go.  So what started out as a little project turned into revamping our whole house over three years.  We just went from one project to the next.  The bottom line was we didn’t want anyone else to work on our home.  And we love it, Chris and his crew just worked with us to make things happen.  Now, 4-5 years later Chris Clark and Haven Construction are working on our son and daughter-in-law’s house.  Our son interviewed other contractors, but they just don’t compare when it comes to that sense of trust and quality you find with Haven Construction.    So another small project that has turned into gutting the whole house and starting new.
